New Pet

Al and I have had several pets through the years and after losing our last little Pomeranian because of leukemia, we missed her so much that we were thinking about getting another Pet. We don't travel or go anywhere anymore except Church on Sundays and spend a few hours at our Son and Daughter in law's house. Our Daughter in law always makes a delicious dinner for all of us to enjoy, bless her heart. Then we go home and start another week of boredom. No one comes by to visit, we just do whatever and watch TV till bed time.

So, Monday Dec.17th we decided to go to the SPCA in Visalia to see if they may have a small pet for us to adopt. Well, to our surprise there was an adorable male Pomeranian mix, with a golden tan and white coat, staring at us as if to say " Please
take me home with you." When we asked about him, they told us to come back the next day, Tuesday, and we would be able to adopt him but they needed to give him his shots and have him neutered before we could take him. On the following day, Wednesday,
he was ready to come home.

He is such a quiet and obedient pet, doesn't jump on the furniture, never barks, he's so well behaved and seems so attached to us already. He follows me where ever I go around the house or he will lay along side of us where ever we may be sitting, or he will go into his crate and take a nap. He sleeps all night without making a sound.

We're so happy to have had the opportunity to claim this adorable lost pet. He will have a loving home here with us. We named him "Petie"

Frustration !

After seeing a commercial on TV about a phone company that has a cheaper monthly rate for local and long distance, we decided to change, so we called them up and after a few days we received a box from them that had a modem and four different cables. What do I do with all these cables???

Well, I called the company up and they told me to connect the cables to my computer and phone line where the computer is. I never tried to do that. They disconnected us from our original phone service which we've had for several years and since I never attempted to connect their stuff, we were left without any phone service for about a week. So I called back and asked about what will happen to my other phones in the house because they were all dead. They said they would have to send a man to come and cut off the lines from our previous phone company to install theirs. So the price of $29.99 a month would be for only one telephone line?
NO THANK YOU !

To make a long and frustrating story short, we cancelled and sent back the box with all the stuff in it, but, we had to change our phone number in order to get service wihin a couple of days. If we wanted to keep the same number, it would take a couple of weeks to get reconnected.

WHAT A FIASCO, A WEEK OF TOTAL FAILURE.
