Heartbreaking news.

Our little "Angel" has been feeling kind of wiped out in the last couple of weeks. We had little black ants all over our house,so we called the exterminator to have the house sprayed inside and outside. We stayed out of our home with our little dog for about 5 hours. It was right after that when she started acting like she wasn't feeling very well. We thought it could be because of the spraying for ants. She has had several attacks of collapsing on the ground when she would get over excited. So Al and I decided to take her to the Vetinarian and have her checked out. After taking some blood tests and xrays they found that her blood count was very low and there was something wrong with her white corpuscles, not sure as to what the Vet meant They put her on some medications.

That was Thursday, May 17th. Today Dr. Johnson the vetinarian called and said that they had sent samples of Angel's blood work to the Lab to get more information as to what's going on with our adorable little pet. The shocking news was that she has Leukemia and she may not have more than a couple of months to live. We have another appointment to take her in next Thursday and if the blood tests don't show any improvement then we should consider putting her down. That was so hard to accept, she has been so loving and a little cuddler. I can't believe this has happened to her, she's been such a joy to us.
